Held by OGD for the tenth time this year to honor successful brands in the automotive sector, the ceremony took place on June 17. In the "Press Launch of the Year" category voted by the OGD jury of expert journalists in the automotive sector, this year's award was given to Renault Duster Türkiye Launch, carried out with the theme Leave It All Behind.
This accomplishment once again illustrated the visionary approach of MAİS in communication. MAİS became the first brand to win the "Press Launch of the Year" title for three consecutive years with the unveilings of Dacia Jogger in Kars and Iğdır in 2022, Renault Austral in Gökçeada in 2023, and Renault Duster, which covered all parts of Türkiye in 2024. MAİS, which transforms each of its launches into an unforgettable tale, also confirmed its sustainability in the creative communication projects it has developed for its brands.
At the ceremony, Renault Rafale's Solarbay Opacification Panoramic Glass Roof technology was also deemed worthy of the "Innovative Project of the Year" award by OGD. The Solarbay ®️ darkening panoramic glass roof in Renault Rafale adds spaciousness to the interior with its large surface of 1 square meter. Through a button on the overhead console, the light levels can be adjusted as desired, thus also controlling the cabin's heat comfort.
A Unique Launch: “Türkiye's Duster” Makes Debut All Over Türkiye
Kicked off with the slogan "Türkiye's Duster" by breaking the molds in the automotive industry, the launch took place with various concepts created by dozens of automotive journalists, and with a theme where the journalists carried out their launches. The introduction, which was conducted throughout dozens of Türkiye's scenic routes covering thousands of kilometers, offered a brand new experience. The launch, carried out for three months with 81 separate events in 35 different cities on a 32-thousand km route, gave each participant the freedom to choose their path and execute their launches based on the concept "Leave It All Behind" by escaping the exhausting tempo and obligations of life.
This comprehensive organization was not just a car debut. It also ensured a solid link between users all over Türkiye and Renault Duster.
While many users preferred their families to participate in the launch of Renault Duster, some opted for their mates and groups of friends. At the end of the event, Renault Duster managed to reach a large target audience and garnered a lot of attention as Türkiye's Duster.
