Leading companies of the Turkish defense industry—Miilux OY, FNSS and Nurol Makina—have come together under a technical partnership protocol. Within this framework, all armor steel required for the projects to be carried out by FNSS and Nurol Makina will be supplied by Miilux OY Türkiye, the only domestic armor steel producer in Türkiye.The “Technical Partnership Protocol” signed among the three major companies was executed at the FNSS stand during the World Defense Show. Through this cooperation—covering various defense industry projects to be developed both domestically and internationally, particularly armored vehicles—Miilux OY, FNSS and Nurol Makina aim to further strengthen Türkiye’s position in the global defense market.
With the objective of eliminating Türkiye’s external dependency in armor steel and supporting localization efforts, Miilux OY—incorporated into OYAK’s portfolio—has joined forces with FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş. and Nurol Makina for the advancement of the Turkish defense industry.
The signing ceremony of the “Miilux OY – FNSS – Nurol Makina Technical Partnership Protocol,” which will contribute to the defense industry and enhance Türkiye’s strength in global markets, was held today (10 February) at the World Defense Show. Senior executives of the companies and industry visitors attended the ceremony at the FNSS stand.
Miilux OY: Türkiye’s Only Domestic Armor Steel Producer
Under the protocol, all armor steel required during the production processes of FNSS and Nurol Makina will be supplied by Miilux OY, Türkiye’s sole domestic armor steel manufacturer. Taking into account existing domestic and international projects, new investments will also be made in Miilux OY’s production lines to meet the anticipated demand.
