Dacia reflects the new brand identity to its entire product range by preserving the core design elements. The new Dacia logo and the new colors stand out in all Dacia models. Vehicles bearing the new brand identity are expected be offered to users at the end of this year.
This innovation, which is beyond a mere design change is based on the strong values behind Dacia's success story and embodies the brand's vision for the future.
The new logo is the strongest feature of the new identity
The redesigned new Dacia logo, which will now be used in white color, is located in the middle of the front grille and represents the strongest feature of the brand's new identity.
The letters 'D' and 'C', which are interlocked with minimalist lines such as the rings of a chain. They reflect the strong and simple approach of the new design, thus creating a completely new logo. The new design creates an eye catching brand image that can be easily recognized both closely and from a distance. The new logo is also located in the each rim center section.
And the new Dacia font is used on the rear panel and steering wheel of each model. In the text, which is minimalist in terms of design, each letter is elegantly separated from each other without disturbing the integrity.
Other important changes in terms of exterior design are the ''Monolith Grey '' door mirrors on the Sandero Stepway and Duster models, and the Monolith Grey roof rails on all models as well as the front and rear under-buffer guards.
Denis Le Vot, CEO of Dacia, stated that the introduction of the Dacia product range to the market with the new brand identity is based on a strategy that launched more than a year ago, said "Our brand values, which are simple, robust and authentic fit more ambitiously with our new brand identity in a much more modern way. This change stands out as a new driving force for Dacia to achieve its goals."
Same DNA, new momentum
In just a few months, Dacia renewed its line-up with two new additions to the family: the all-electric Spring, and Jogger, the versatile C-segment family car. The roll-out of the new visual branding marks the culmination of the brand’s renewal. Dacia has indeed changed everything but is still true to the essence of the brand.
The basic principle of the brand is to produce vehicles that respond to customers' expectations while focusing only on what is necessary. Dacia models are primarily stand out with their robust, reliable, and versatile specifications. Inspired by nature with its new brand identity, Dacia introduces the "Khaki" color for the first time and highlights its close ties with nature.
Dacia is here to shake things up, to rethink automotive, in particular through an effort to champion smart consumer practices. This will be reflected in the gradual abandonment of certain materials such as chromed decorative, but also, as has been the case for several years, all leather of animal origin.
Dacia will gradually put into action one of the commitments made by Renault Group at its Annual General Meeting on 23rd April 2021. As such, from 2023, Dacia will be the Group’s first brand to have capped all its vehicles to a top speed of 180 km/h.
David Durand, Dacia Design Director, "The new Dacia logo, inspired by the mechanical world, symbolizes simplicity and robustness, but it also represents the strong bond of the Dacia community."
The full line-up overhauled all at once
This is probably a first in the automotive industry. Dacia launches its new brand identity simultaneously across the entire product range.
Vehicles with a new brand identity will be exhibited at the Paris Motor Show in October 2022, after which they will meet with the users.
