The Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric is taking the road for the first time with international test drives in Nice. The test drives attended by a total of 21 press members from Türkiye are carried out on the fantastic routes of Nice.

The lighting signature, unique in the Renault range, consists of two rectangles with rounded corners placed on the same point at the front bumper with the fog lights on the Renault 5 Turbo. The colorful roofline (black, red, or hot titanium), the dark red vertical taillights, and the vibrant colors of the body are reminiscent of the original Renault 5 and the energy it brought to the city.
The Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric has modern and compact body proportions thanks to large 18-inch rims in four corners having minimal arch extensions, wheels in line with the body with a wide track width of 1.55 meters at the front and 1.53 meters at the rear, and a body length of less than 4 meters (3.92 meters).
The most distinctive features of the Renault 5 generations stylishly come together on the horizontal dashboard with oval edges, on which a two-layer rectangular instrument panel facing the passenger is placed. The denim fabric made from fully recycled plastic water bottles is used in the seats, dashboard, and door panels of the Techno trim level.
The dual horizontal screen gives the interior of the Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric a contemporary, high-tech, and entertaining look. The first 10.1-inch digital screen (7 inches at the first trim level) the driver uses has five different view options and shows all driving information to the driver. Reno, an avatar with a real personality, supports and engages with Renault customers throughout their user experience inside and outside the vehicle. The sense of empathy strengthens the emotional bond between the user and the Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric. It can also be proactive to react to sounds and suggests new settings automatically when driving conditions change. When the environment requires it while driving, it can automatically ask to switch from Sport to Eco mode. Reno can also suggest switching the air conditioner to “automatic” mode when it detects a risk of condensation. To facilitate daily life, Reno, programmed to answer the 200 most frequently asked questions by customers with the answers given in advance by Renault, takes the user experience to the next level.
Renault 5 E-Tech 100% Electric Makes Life Easier with Electric Car
Designed to be versatile, the Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric is equipped with battery options suitable for users' wishes and needs, making it comfortable outside and in the city. Which one is chosen, it even provides the opportunity to reduce the electricity bill by facilitating daily life in every aspect such as route planning and charging the battery. All these advantages are vital for the spread of electric vehicles.
The Renault 5 E-Tech 100% Electric reaches a range of up to 410 km with a 110-kW engine and a large 52 kWh lithium-ion battery with NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) cathode, according to the WLTP norm.
The iconic model has an electricity consumption of 14.9 kWh (WLTP), including losses during charging. Apart from this version, two other engine options, which will generate 90 kW (120 hp/225 Nm) and 70 kW (95 hp/215 Nm) power and torque with a 40-kWh battery, will be added to the product range in future.
The new 11 kW AC bi-directional charger of the Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric combines V2L (vehicle-to-vehicle charging) and V2G (vehicle-to-grid) features. Through this feature, a first for Renault cars, the user can connect 220 V (up to 3,700 W) powered devices such as a vacuum cleaner, kettle, or electric barbecue to the vehicle's battery via an optional adapter. Thus, users can reduce nearly 50% of their charging costs at home.
The Renault 5 E-Tech 100% Electric has a 100 kW DC socket to charge the 52-kWh battery of the 110-kW powertrain system for DC fast charging on highways, too. The 90-kW powertrain is equipped with an 80-kW DC socket to charge the 40-kWh battery. In either case, it only takes 30 minutes to charge the battery from 15% to 80%.
The Electric Route Planner (ERP), accessible via Google Maps, suggests the best route, including charging points, depending on factors such as the charging station's location, features, and compatible charging networks.

In the Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric product range, alongside the Evolution and Techno trim levels, there will be a high-end trim level on the same principle as the special design collections, and this trim level will change every year. The launch-specific trim level for the Renault 5 E-Tech 100% Electric will be Iconic Cinq.
