Announcing its financial results for the first nine months of 2022, OYAK YATIRIM Menkul Değerler A.Ş. (OYYAT), announced in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that the company's equity has exceeded TL 1.1 billion, while continuing its strong growth. It was emphasized that OYAK Securities continued to increase the number of its customers and product variety in the relevant period, and that the share commission income had an impact on the revenue increase.
OYAK YATIRIM Menkul Değerler A.Ş. maintains its strong growth in 2022, as it did in 2021. In a statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) by OYAK Securities, it was stated that the equity of the company exceeded TL 1.1 billion in the first nine months of 2022.
Erkan Ünal, General Manager of OYAK Securities, noted that OYAK's future vision and strategy have a great impact behind their successful financial performance in the last five years. Expressing that the net profit of the company increased by 2.2 times in the first nine months of 2022 compared to the same period of the previous year and reached TL 409 million, Ünal stated that the profitability of OYAK Group Insurance, a subsidiary of the company, increased by 4.6 times.
Stating that in the relevant period, the company's consolidated net commission income increased by 70 percent to TL 404 million, and its total revenues increased by 95 percent to TL 720 million, Ünal emphasized that share commission incomes had a major impact on this increase. Ünal underlined that they continue to increase the number of customers and product diversity, and stated that they expect the positive progress they have displayed so far in the last quarter of 2022 to continue, and said, “We anticipate that the growth we have achieved in the first nine months will continue.”
Reminding that OYAK Securities has undertaken many initiatives in recent years, from global insurance brokerage activities to financial technology, Ünal said, “In addition to our investments, our increasing collaborations have a great impact on our strong growth. In the coming period, we will sign new investments and collaborations.”
