The Otojet brand, which has been serving under the umbrella of OYAK Energy with new electric charging units developed for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles since its establishment in 2022, continues to grow in parallel with the electric vehicle market in Türkiye. Otojet, which has over 15 thousand customers, aims to reach 1,000 charging units by the end of 2025.
Established for electric vehicle charging in line with the new generation energy vision and zero carbon footprint targets of OYAK Energy, Otojet is steadily expanding its service points throughout Türkiye. As part of its rapid expansion strategy, Otojet, established at TotalEnergies Stations in the first place, now mounts charging units in public areas such as municipalities, restaurants, shopping malls, hotels, universities, and hospitals to extend its services. With the increase of its charging points, which is more than 150 today, electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle users will access services at various locations.
The momentum created by domestic electric vehicles and the entry of foreign vehicle manufacturers into the market has played a significant role in electric vehicle sales, and it has been observed that the number of vehicles has surged by 1,428% in the last five years. Otojet, which maintains investments to expand its charging points accordingly, has now started to serve in crowded areas such as Municipalities, Highways, Universities, and Shopping Malls. Otojet, which continues its efforts to provide uninterrupted service in 81 provinces of our country with the principle of 100% customer satisfaction as one of the brands having the most DC charging stations in Türkiye, intends to increase the number of its active charging points to 450 by the end of 2024. On the other hand, investment planning to install 1,000 charging units until the end of 2025 has been completed.
