Erdemir will recruit hourly paid workers

Erdemir, Türkiye’s largest integrated flat steel producer, has been contributing to the economic and social development of Karadeniz Ereğli for 59 years with its production, investments and the employment it has created. Erdemir will mass recruit hourly paid workers also in 2024 in line with its growth strategy and the needs of its businesses. Candidates will be able to make their applications at the Erdemir Sports Hall every weekday for two weeks starting on Monday, May 20. 

Türkiye's global steel power, Erdemir, will mass recruit for positions with hourly wages in line with its needs in 2024. Continuing to contribute to the region by creating employment since its establishment, Erdemir continues to employ new hourly paid workers this year for the needs of various business units.

The application process for hourly paid worker recruitment at Erdemir for 2024 starts on Monday, May 20. Applications can be made at Erdemir Sports Hall between 08:00-16:00 every weekday between May 20 31. 

Candidates are required to graduate from the electrical/electronics, industrial automation, machine technology, metal technology, metallurgical technology and construction machinery departments of motor vehicles technology and/or electrical-electronics/energy, industrial automation, machine technology, metal technology, metallurgical technology and construction equipment departments of motor vehicles technology of vocational high schools. 

Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 26 (born on 21.05.1997 and after, 19.05.2006 and before) as of the announcement date.  Priority will be given to those who are registered in the Karadeniz Ereğli population or who started to reside in Karadeniz Ereğli before November 20, 2023 and still reside in Karadeniz Ereğli. In addition, they must preferably have completed their military service, be eligible to work in very dangerous job classes during the health examination, and not have any physical or mental illness that may prevent them from performing their duties.

In addition to the physical applications made by the candidates with their identity documents, the applications made by their first-degree relatives, including spouses and siblings, together with the civil registry extract will also be considered valid. The application process will continue online via the link that will be given to candidates during the physical application. Recruitment will be made among the candidates who are successful in the exams and evaluations to be applied.
