In 2024, Akdeniz Chemson earned a gold medal from the EcoVadis platform for its Turkey plant. This year, the company took its success even further by winning the platinum medal for its Australian plant.
The EcoVadis platform, which aims to guide companies and value chains to improve their sustainability performance, has adopted a new scoring system this year. Akdeniz Chemson's Australian plant, evaluated by the EcoVadis platform based on its performance over the last 12 months in areas such as the environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable sourcing, achieved a score of 90, placing it in the top 1% of the companies reviewed.
