Following the recent announcement of OYAK and Renault regarding their investment of more than 400 million Euros in Turkey, MAİS A.Ş. is now crowning its presence by adding the Alpine brand to Renault and Dacia.
Combining brand strength, experience, and quality with the high technology it improves every passing year, Alpine has offered three versions of its A110 model for sale in Turkey. Alpine, which has reached the present day with its iconic design coming from the past, is ready to deliver a premium experience through A110, A110 GT, and A110 S versions and to enter the lens of adventure lovers and collectors. Alpine Center Istanbul, recently opened in Sarıyer, Istanbul, where the A110 model will be sold, became the brand's 155th sales point worldwide as part of its international expansion strategy. Turkey, on the other hand, is the 5th country representing Alpine in the global market.
Performance and comfort combined for motorsport enthusiasts
All three versions of the Alpine put up for sale were equipped with a 4-cylinder 1.8 liters turbo engine and a Getrag seven-speed automatic gearbox with a dual wet clutch. With the front and rear double wishbone suspension system, the focus was on performance and comfort-based driving experience. Driving safety was maximized owing to the high-performance Brembo Brake System and 320 mm brake disc.
The body of the Alpine A110's all versions was designed to be 96% aluminum. The weight was distributed to the front and back of the vehicle with rates of 44% and 56%, respectively. Thus, the A110 gained lightness and agile mobility. Because of all these features, the A110 can accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.2 to 4.5 seconds.
Each version of the A110 has different characteristics. For instance, the curb weights of A110, A110 GT, and A110 S are 1102 kg, 1119 kg, and 1109 kg, respectively. While the A110 has 252 horsepower and a maximum torque of 320 Nm, the other versions offer 300 horsepower and a maximum torque of 340 Nm. The A110 and A110 GT versions can reach a maximum speed of 250 km/h. For the A110 S, the top speed is 260 km/h without an aero kit and 275 km/h with the kit. The A110 S also differs from the other two with its height. Although the height of the A110 and A110 GT is 1.252 mm, the A110 S was lowered by 4 mm with the sports chassis, making it more suitable for the track.
Its iconic exterior offers an admirable design to its users with a narrow-angle rear window, flow line and signature placed on the sides, central character line and auxiliary lights in front, main character line behind, extended belts, and rear character line.
Sabelt brand seats used in the interior can be combined with Bucket or Comfort type seats as leather or microfiber upholstery, depending on the version. Sabelt seats with a weight starting from 13.1 kilograms significantly contribute to the car's lightness while offering additional customization options through stitch details in different colors. The attachments in the same color as the body used in the interior sides of doors provide integrity between the interior and exterior appearance of the model. Driving pleasure is maximized with the Focal Premium sound system.
In addition to optional features such as a black or carbon roof specific to the A110 S version, orange seat belt, aero kit, and semi-slick tires, Alpine Atelier, available in all versions, offers users more personalization with its body and wheel colors attractive than each other.
Three different experiences through three different versions of the A110 model await adventurers
The Alpine A110 maintains the legendary Berlinette tradition while at the same time offering a pure depiction of genuine Alpine thrill. This version, which mirrors most intensely the contemporary version of the classic Alpine experience, exhibits exceptional agility and performance.
The Alpine A110 GT is a Grand Tourer combining elegance and performance. It elevates the driving experience to a pleasant and exciting dimension with an interior designed with brown colors and an iconic exterior.
The Alpine A110 S opens the door to an exclusive experience that optimizes performance and takes the energy from the tracks to the roads with a sporty design.
A history full of victory
Alpine was founded in 1955 by Jean Rédélé, a young man passionately committed to motorsport. The Alps, his favorite playground, became the source of inspiration for his brand's name. The first 1962 model A110, the progenitor of the A110 model, which will be sold in Turkey, was historically a significant step, as it paved the way for the rise of the Alpine brand.
Alpine, considered one of the elites of rallies in the early 1970s, took precedence over the track twice at the Monte-Carlo Rally and became the first manufacturer to win the “World Rally Champion” title in 1973. Thus, the Alpine legend was born.
Alpine, which is the representative of the Renault Group in motorsport, especially F1, and has the sense of competition in its blood, won victories in the "24 Hours of Le Mans" race, the star of motorsport races, and in the most important endurance races in the world.
In 2017, the Alpine A110 was reborn. As of March 2024, it will meet its enthusiasts in Turkey with three versions: A110, A110 GT, and A110 S.
