Thanks to the most preferred brands by users, MAİS, which had notable successes throughout the year with Renault, Dacia, and Alpine brands, finished 2025 at the top, when the automotive sector broke a record. The industry reached 1,368,400 units in sales in 2025, shattering the all-time sales record. Renault, on the other hand, ranked first as the best-selling brand in both the total market and the automotive market with 144,331 sales and 10.5% market share in this record year, as well as 131,764 sales and a market share of 12.1% in the automotive sector. Renault also generated the highest sales figure in Türkiye's history.
Renault Clio and Renault Megane Sedan were the most preferred models among users in 2025. Renault Clio hit the peak as the best-selling car in Türkiye in 2025 with a sales figure of 51,717 units. Renault Megane Sedan came in second, right after Clio, with a sales figure of 48,099 units. These two domestic models of Renault significantly stood out, with a total share of 9.2% they obtained from sales in the automobile market.
Renault's sales performance based on both brand and model played a significant role in the industry's record in 2025.
Gained Leadership in the SUV Segment
Dacia Sandero Stepway, one of the dominant and most assertive models in the B-SUV segment, closed the year 2025 at the peak of the B-SUV segment with 23,699 sales. Sandero Stepway also ranked second after Renault Clio in the total B-segment, thanks to these sales figures.
Renault Duster, which was offered for sale with its new versions in November and sold nearly 8,000 units in the last two months of the year, came to the fore in the previous quarter as the best-selling SUV in December. Additionally, Renault became the best-selling brand in the C-SUV segment with Renault Duster and Austral models, and in December, with its strong SUV product line.

Expanding Product Range
Renault expanded its product range in 2025 and achieved considerable success in the SUV segment. Offered for sale within the year, the updated Austral, Rafale Hyper Hybrid E-Tech 4X4 300 HP, and the New Renault Duster, whose three versions are produced at Oyak Renault Automobile Factories, enabled the brand to both boost the SUV lineup and reach notable sales volumes. MAİS also took the transition process to electrification forward with solid steps through its new hybrid models. The new Renault Duster Full-Hybrid E-Tech was positioned as one of the most remarkable models, particularly in this transition. In addition, the brand-new fully electric models of the Renault Group grabbed attention in 2025. On the other hand, the 100% electric Renault 5 and Alpine A290 models, which MAİS added to its product portfolio and offered for sale in 2025, were among the models that gained recognition from users and stood out. These iconic models, both selected as the "Car of the Year 2025 in Europe", have garnered great attention from users since the first day they were put up for sale. While the Renault 5, created with a brand-new style by taking inspiration from the past, meets users with its colorful and iconic universe, Alpine A290, which brings the many years of motorsport history and spirit from the tracks to the streets, provides a thrilling experience for users.
Over 20 Awards to MAIS in 2025
The successes of MAIS were not limited to sales figures and effective strategies in its product range. At the ODMD Sales and Communication Awards, 2025 Gladiators, held by the Automotive Journalists' and Mobility Association (ODMD), Renault was deemed worthy of the awards as the "Best-Selling Automobile Brand of the Year" and "Best-Selling Automobile and Light Commercial Vehicle Brand of the Year". MAİS also became the first and only brand to be named as the "Press Launch of the Year" by the Automotive Journalists Association (OGD) for the third consecutive year with the launch of "Leave It All Behind" for the New Renault Duster in 2025. Additionally, MAİS received over 20 awards for its various communication initiatives in 2025. Renault continued to collect awards in 2025 due to the launches of Renault Rafale and Renault Duster in 2024, the Renault X Haydarpaşa 3D Mapping Show and Premiumization Plan, in addition to the 360-degree communication efforts carried out for the Renault 5. Thus, MAİS confirmed its achievements in various fields with over 20 awards.
MAİS Ready for 2026
Closing the year 2025 with notable successes and sales leadership, MAİS makes a strong start to the year by further strengthening its product line with the new models that will be available for purchase in 2026. MAİS, which will make a name for itself throughout the year with its new models to be manufactured domestically at Oyak Renault Automobile Factories, will launch an ambitious start with the sixth-generation New Renault Clio in the first quarter of 2026. The Renault Boreal, which will also be produced domestically, is to be among the most powerful and most significant models of 2026. The updated Megane E-Tech and Scenic will also be sold as new electric models of Renault in Türkiye. In addition, with the minibus version of Renault Master, which was selected as "Van of the Year 2025 in Europe", Renault will make a comeback to the minibus market after a long time.
Dacia's product range will also be updated in 2026 to meet users. Sandero, Sandero Stepway, and Jogger's completely renewed models will be offered to users' taste in the first quarter of the year.
Alpine A390, the second model of Alpine's fully electric Dream Garage series, will be one of the models that Mais will introduce to users in 2026. Alpine's new sporty fastback A390 will bring together the Alpine spirit and experience with more users.
