Dr. Berk Çağdaş, who has served as the General Manager of MAİS A.Ş. since 2016, has handed over his position to Bahaettin Tatoğlu.
Operating under OYAK Automotive Logistics Companies and acting as the general distributor of Renault, Dacia and Alpine brands in Türkiye, MAİS A.Ş. has appointed Bahaettin Tatoğlu as its new General Manager. Dr. Berk Çağdaş, who has held the role of General Manager at MAİS A.Ş. since 2016, has transferred his duties to Bahaettin Tatoğlu.
Having served as Vice Chairman of the Board at Bayraktar Holding, one of Türkiye’s well-established groups, for eight years, Bahaettin Tatoğlu was appointed as General Manager of MAİS A.Ş. in addition to his role as Chairman of the Board of MAİS A.Ş., which he has held since the second half of August.
A graduate of Boğaziçi University, Department of Business Administration, Bahaettin Tatoğlu began his professional career at the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries. Starting in 1996, he held various positions at Baytur Motorlu Vasıtalar Ticaret A.Ş., serving as General Manager of the company between 2005 and 2009. From 2009 to 2017, Tatoğlu worked as General Manager of Baylas Otomotiv A.Ş. Since 2017, he has been serving as Vice Chairman of the Board of Bayraktar Holding. Bahaettin Tatoğlu speaks English.
