With more than half a century of experience in the Turkish chemical industry, OYAK Chemicals Companies continue to grow by adding world giants to their portfolio through global investments. Almatis produces and sells specialty alumina by processing aluminum oxide (alumina), an aluminum raw material.

Kümaş Manyezit, the world's largest mine operator in the qualified magnesite ore sector and the Turkish market leader in the refractory sector, joined OYAK Companies on February 3, 2021.
Kümaş is Türkiye's leading and largest vertically integrated refractory manufacturer. The entire operation from mine procurement to the sales process is carried out by the company.
