With more than 17 million units sold worldwide and over 600,000 units in Türkiye to date, Renault Clio has touched the lives of different generations and become an indispensable part of daily life since its very first generation. Continuously evolving in line with changing expectations and reinventing itself with each generation, Clio has established itself as a strong reference point in the B segment.

This long-standing success was once again confirmed in 2025, with 51,717 units sold, making Renault Clio the best-selling car in Türkiye. With this achievement, Clio carried its success story even further as it entered its sixth generation.

With its refreshed design and enhanced equipment levels, the New Clio takes to Turkish roads with a starting list price of TL 1,799,000, and a special launch price starting from TL 1,749,000 for the first 1,000 customers. Bahaettin Tatoğlu, Chairman and General Manager of MAİS A.Ş., said: “Renault Clio is not just a car; it is a companion that has touched the hearts of millions of users and accompanied their stories for generations in Türkiye. As one of the most solid pillars of the Turkish automotive market, Clio completed 2025 as the best-selling car in Türkiye. Produced with the high manufacturing quality of Bursa Oyak Renault Automobile Factories and supported by Türkiye’s global engineering expertise, Clio represents a great source of pride for us.

Maintaining the title of ‘Türkiye’s most beloved model produced in Türkiye’ is extremely meaningful. With the New Clio, we both strengthen the bond with our loyal users and establish a powerful connection with the younger generation of automotive enthusiasts. We firmly believe this bond will continue on the roads of Türkiye for many years to come.”

From Türkiye to the World: Produced in Bursa

The heart of the New Clio beats at Bursa Oyak Renault Automobile Factories. With more than 1,000 Clios produced every day and over 5 million units manufactured to date, the facility serves as the global production hub for the new generation Clio.

Producing the New Renault Clio in Bursa once again highlights the model’s strategic importance for Türkiye. This strong production ecosystem—one of the clearest indicators of Renault Group’s trust in Türkiye—also stands out with its high local content rate. More than 50% of the factory’s purchasing volume is sourced from 90 local suppliers.

In addition to production, the Renault Technology Türkiye engineering center actively contributes to the development phases of the New Clio, further strengthening its local identity.

New TCe 115 hp Gasoline Engine

The New Renault Clio makes a strong statement in performance and efficiency with its new-generation engine, now available in the Turkish market. This engine differs significantly from previous versions and is based on the internal combustion engine that forms the foundation of the hybrid systems used in Renault Austral and Rafale models.

High efficiency:

The 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbo gasoline engine achieves high fuel efficiency thanks to direct injection and Miller cycle technologies.

Performance:

Delivering 115 hp and 190 Nm of torque, the engine is paired with a 6-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Consumption values:

Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 10 seconds, the engine offers an average fuel consumption starting from 5.0 liters/100 km, with CO₂ emissions beginning at 114 g/km.

In addition to the TCe 115 hp gasoline engine, the product range will expand further in 2026 with two powerful and efficient alternatives:

•       160 hp Full Hybrid E-Tech:

Offering up to 80% electric driving in urban conditions, a 1,000 km driving range, and fuel consumption of 3.9 l/100 km, this version will be available later in 2026.

• Eco-G 120 EDC:

This gasoline/LPG dual-fuel version with automatic transmission will join the range in 2026, delivering a record range of up to 1,450 km thanks to its new 50-liter LPG tank.

New-Generation Design: More Athletic, More Assertive

The Renault design team focused on the brand’s new “emotional technology” design language for the New Clio. Compared to the previous generation, its increased dimensions and wider track give the car a more sculpted and muscular stance:

• Length: 4.12 m (+66 mm)

• Width: 1.77 m (+39 mm)

• Wheelbase: 2,591 mm

The three-dimensional diamond-pattern grille and new lighting signature at the front reinforce the vehicle’s strong character. A coupe-inspired roofline, sharply angled rear window, and pronounced shoulder lines underline the New Clio’s dynamic appearance. 18-inch wheels and a wider track further enhance its road presence.

The New Clio is offered in seven colors, including two new additions: Ruby Red and Emerald Green, alongside White, Rock Gray, Mineral Gray, Star Black, and Iron Blue.

Top-Segment Technology and Smart Driving Experience

Inside, the New Clio delivers a premium atmosphere with its dual 10.1-inch screen layout and compact steering wheel inspired by Renault Austral and Rafale. With 48-color ambient lighting and Alcantara upholstery options in the Esprit Alpine version, the cabin embraces a modern and sporty identity.

The Google-integrated OpenR Link system sets new standards in digital connectivity, offering Google Maps, Google Play, and Google Assistant. In addition, Gemini, Google’s new artificial intelligence assistant, will be integrated into the OpenR Link system via a future wireless update, enhancing the driving experience with natural conversation capabilities and advanced voice recognition.

Equipped with 25 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)—a first in the B segment—the New Clio fully complies with GSR2.3 regulations. Features such as Active Driving Assist, 360° camera, and automatic emergency braking stand out. Renault’s innovative My Safety button allows drivers to customize safety settings with a single touch, while default legal configurations are activated at each engine start.

Enhanced Chassis and Aerodynamic Efficiency

Built on the CMF-B platform, the New Clio delivers improved stability thanks to its longer wheelbase and wider track. Aerodynamic efficiency has also been optimized, reducing the drag coefficient (cW) from 0.32 to 0.30, contributing to improved fuel efficiency.

Acoustic comfort and maneuverability have been further enhanced. New insulation materials in the A-pillars reduce cabin noise to upper-segment levels, while a 10.4-meter turning circle ensures easy urban maneuvering. A luggage capacity of up to 391 liters and a 40 mm lower loading sill significantly improve everyday practicality.

Circular Economy and Sustainability

The New Clio reflects Renault’s commitment to environmentally responsible production. 33.9% of the materials used are sourced from the circular economy, while 92% of the upholstery fabrics are made from recycled fibers. In the Esprit Alpine version, wheels produced with 50% recycled aluminum reduce CO₂ emissions by 350 kg per vehicle.
