Dacia Striker, Produced In Türkiye, Makes Its Global Debut In Paris
13 Ekim 2026
At the 2026 Paris Motor Show, Renault Group has unveiled its extensive product lineup, world premieres, and forward-looking design and technology innovations through its Renault, Dacia, and Alpine brands. At the fair, running from October 12 to 18, three brands are participating with models tailored to diverse customer needs and next-generation mobility solutions.
DACIA STRIKER MANUFACTURED IN TÜRKİYE TAKES THE WORLD STAGE
Dacia unveiled its new dynamic crossover, Striker, at the Paris Motor Show to strengthen its presence in the C-segment. Manufactured at OYAK Renault Automobile Factories, the model marks the final step in the €400 million investment plan OYAK and Renault Group announced at the end of 2023.
Set to be exported from Türkiye to markets worldwide, particularly Europe, the Striker emerged as a significant attempt to elevate Türkiye’s position within Renault Group’s international manufacturing network. With the model's production, Türkiye will become the Dacia Striker’s sole global manufacturing hub.
Combining an SUV's high driving position and robustness with a station wagon's spacious interior and versatility and a sedan's dynamic design, the Striker brings a fresh perspective to the crossover concept. The 4.62-meter-long model offers a wide range of uses, from everyday family life to long-distance journeys, with its spacious interior, boot capacity of up to 602 liters, and a design tailored to diverse purposes.
Striker's product lineup comes with three engine options: Mild Hybrid-G 140, Hybrid 155, and Hybrid 150 4x4. The Mild Hybrid-G 140 combines gasoline/LPG dual-fuel technology with a mild-hybrid system and is paired with an efficient 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for customers seeking extended range and economical use. While the Hybrid 155 merges performance and efficiency, the Hybrid 150 4x4 delivers four-wheel-drive capability for a variety of road and terrain conditions.
With its multi-energy powertrain options and aerodynamic design, the Dacia Striker intends to offer a competitive total cost of ownership (TCO) in the C-segment. The Hybrid 155 engine option, with CO₂ emissions starting at 95 g/km and fuel consumption as low as 4.2 liters per 100 kilometers, promotes the model’s focus on efficiency and economical driving.
All engine options of the Dacia Striker are expected to be eligible for sales exempt from Special Consumption Tax (SCT). The new Dacia Striker, manufactured in Türkiye, is scheduled to go on sale in Türkiye in December 2026.
Dacia also held a world premiere at the Paris Motor Show for the new Spring. Produced in Europe, the second-generation Spring remains committed to making electric mobility more accessible and marks the first step toward Dacia's expanding electric vehicle family.
RENAULT E-SPACE CONCEPT SHEDS LIGHT ON THE FAMILY CAR OF THE FUTURE
Renault held the world premiere of the E-Space Concept at the Paris Motor Show. Inspired by the core philosophy of the Renault Espace, first introduced in 1984, the concept car revealed the brand's vision for travel and family life in the era of electric mobility.
The 4.70-meter-long E-Space Concept stood out for its human-centric approach, treating the car not merely as a means of transportation but as an integral part of life. With its spacious, modular interior, natural-light-maximizing design, and comfort-focused solutions, the concept reflected a fresh approach to the future family car.
Alongside the E-Space Concept, a contemporary interpretation of Renault’s voitures à vivre philosophy, the brand also presented the new Megane E-Tech Electric and Trafic Van E-Tech Electric, the limited-edition Rafale Hypnotic, and a specially customized version of the Renault 5 Turbo 3E at the show. Added to the Twingo E-Tech Electric product lineup, the Twingobay panoramic glass roof was also unveiled.
Alongside its electric mobility innovations, Renault also introduced the Renault 8 Gordini Concept and Renault 4 JP4x4 Concept cars, which reinterpret its iconic models. Renault is rolling out LFP battery technology across its electric vehicle range while aiming to enhance the in-car digital experience through the integration of Gemini, Google’s AI assistant.
In the light commercial vehicle family, the new Trafic Van E-Tech Electric took center stage. At the Renault Pro+ stand, beside the Kangoo, Trafic and Master models, customization solutions for commercial users, Converted by Renault conversions, and new services under the UPTIMIZE program have been exhibited.
ALPINE A310 VISION CARRIES THE BRAND'S DESIGN HERITAGE INTO THE FUTURE
At the Paris Motor Show, Alpine unveiled the A310 VISION concept car, inspired by the brand’s iconic Alpine A310. Developed by Alpine’s design teams, the unique concept reinterprets the A310’s distinctive lines, proportions, and sporty spirit through a contemporary, retro-futuristic design language. Demonstrating the design possibilities of the new APP platform, the A310 VISION reflects Alpine’s design vision for future sports cars through its low, wide, and sculptural body, translucent cockpit, and aerodynamic features.
Alpine also introduced the Alpine A110 Sculpture at the fair, which provides clues about the design of the future third-generation A110. Reinterpreting the distinctive proportions of the original Berlinette and today's A110 through a contemporary design approach, the project has revealed the brand’s design approach to future sports cars.
New options for the A290 and A390 models have also been presented to visitors as part of Atelier Alpine, Alpine’s personalization program. The A290, featuring the new Collection trim, and the A390 GTS, showcased in Bleu Tempête Matt, symbolize the brand's latest personalization options.
