24 Ağustos 2026

OYAK Turkoman Yatırım A.Ş. (TOI) operating as a joint venture between OYAK and the Oman Investment Authority has decided to invest €15 million in a Turkish technology company that develops dual-use products.
OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş stated that they aim to further strengthen the robust ties between Türkiye and Oman, noting that this investment decision serves as a testament to that goal.
The third meeting of the board of directors of TOI, a joint venture between OYAK and the Oman Investment Authority, was held in Oman.
The meeting was attended by TOI Chairman Sheikh Nasser Al-Harthy, OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş, and members of the TOI board of directors. During the meeting, which assessed the progress of current investment processes, participants discussed new investment opportunities to enhance economic cooperation between Türkiye and Oman, as well as potential collaborations in strategic sectors.
€15 million direct investment in Türkiye
As part of the meeting, a decision was reached to invest €15 million in a Turkish technology company developing dual-use (military-civilian) products. This marks a significant step toward attracting direct foreign capital to Türkiye.
Commenting on the matter, OYAK General Manager Yalçıntaş stated that they aim to advance the strong relationship between Türkiye and Oman through tangible investments.
“We will evaluate new investment opportunities that create mutual value”
Noting that the €15 million investment they are making via TOI in a Turkish technology company developing dual-use products is a significant indicator of this objective, Yalçıntaş stated:
“With this investment, we will bring foreign direct investment into our country while also contributing to the growth of our strategic sectors. We have confidence in Türkiye’s manufacturing strength, technological capabilities, and skilled human capital. We will continue to evaluate new investment opportunities that create mutual value in the period ahead.”
TOI evaluates investment opportunities in strategic sectors, particularly high technology, value-added industry, energy, and mining. These investments aim to diversify OYAK’s portfolio and increase the inflow of foreign direct investment into Türkiye.
