The OYAK era has begun at TEKFEN
4 Ağustos 2026

Following the transfer of a 42.8% stake in TEKFEN Holding to ON Investment B.V. -an OYAK subsidiary-the first board of directors meeting was held under the chairmanship of OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş, who was appointed Chairman of the Board at TEKFEN.

The Armed Forces Assistance Fund (OYAK) held its first board of directors meeting following the transfer of a 42.8% stake in TEKFEN Holding marking one of Türkiye’s largest acquisitions of 2026 to ON Investment B.V., a company majority-owned by OYAK.
The new distribution of roles was also finalized during the board meeting, which was chaired by Murat Yalçıntaş, OYAK General Manager and Chairman of the Board of TEKFEN.
Thus, one of the most notable acquisition processes in the Turkish business world in recent years was concluded after the Competition Authority approved the share transfer.
New management structure at TEKFEN
According to the allocation of duties following the resignation of TEKFEN Holding Chairman Nevzat Avunç, OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş became the Chairman of the Board, while OYAK Executive Vice President of Finance Ahmet Çağrı Özer and OYAK Executive Vice President of Strategy and Subsidiary Operations Ahmet Raci Yalçın became Board Members.
With this change, a new era has officially begun at TEKFEN Holding, characterized by OYAK's direct participation in the management.
The door to strategic partnerships is opening
The partnership established between these two long-standing institutions is expected to generate new collaborations and growth opportunities across numerous sectors, particularly in industry, energy, construction, agriculture, and logistics.
With OYAK assuming an active role in management, the aim is to create a powerful synergy between the two institutions by leveraging their combined expertise, financial strength, and operational experience.
Supporting long-term strategic growth objectives and capitalizing on new opportunities on an international scale are also among the key priorities.
OYAK expands its global footprint
With the addition of TEKFEN Holding to OYAK’s portfolio, the total number of companies rose from 146 to 185, the number of overseas companies increased from 58 to 76, and the number of countries of operation including Turkey grew from 24 to 29.
This development marks a significant step toward realizing the OYAK Vision 2030 strategy and achieving sustainable growth goals.
