Talya expands its global growth trajectory
14 Ağustos 2026
Born from Türkiye’s rich botanical resources, Talya is advancing on its path to becoming a global brand. Bringing its science - based products to diverse regions across the globe, the company has increased its production capacity tenfold, backed by the strength of OYAK. Currently exporting to nearly 40 countries, Talya is now setting its sights on the US, Far East, and Middle East markets.
Talya Herbal Products, an OYAK company, transforms Türkiye’s rich plant diversity into value - added products through scientific research and manufacturing prowess.
Developing food supplements, vitamins, minerals, and aromatherapy products at its facilities in Antalya, the company continues to invest in line with its global growth objectives.
M. Halis Ertaş, Founder of Talya Herbal Products, appeared on A Para TV’s program "Değişim Zamanı" (Time for Change) to discuss the company’s growth targets and plans for the new period.
Exports to nearly 40 countries
Noting that Talya possesses 23 years of experience, Ertaş stated that the company currently exports to nearly 40 countries.
Ertaş explained that Talya has been active in the US market for approximately a decade, noting that the value - added products manufactured in Antalya are brought to market through the company's US-based office and warehousing operations.
He added that, in addition to the US, they have identified 13 target countries, with a particular focus on the Far East and Middle East markets.
Ertaş said, "Türkiye’s plant diversity provides us with a significant advantage. We aim to strengthen our presence in international markets by combining this potential with our scientific research and production capabilities."
Transforming Türkiye’s botanical wealth into added value
Highlighting that the region's rich flora is a key advantage of Talya’s location in Antalya, Ertaş noted that Turkey’s endemic plant diversity serves as a vital resource for product development efforts.
Drawing attention to the company’s work in modern science and phytotherapy, Ertaş stated that Talya’s R&D (Research and Development) laboratories collaborate with a scientific advisory board comprising academics from the fields of medicine, pharmacy, and food science at various universities.
"We develop our products in light of scientific research, "Ertaş said and "By transforming Türkiye’s botanical resources into high value added products, we aim to grow in both domestic and international markets."
Production capacity increased 10 fold
Stating that they had successfully met their targets for the first half of 2026, Ertaş noted that the company had made an investment of $6 million last year.
He explained that these investments had significantly strengthened the production infrastructure, raising the monthly production capacity for food supplements from 1 million units to 10 million units.
"We will increase our presence in the global market"
Ertaş noted that following OYAK’s investment in Talya in 2023, the company accelerated its global growth initiatives, adding that they aim to further boost production and export capacities through new investments.
"Leveraging OYAK’s strength, we are accelerating our institutionalization and global growth processes," Ertaş said and "We aim to achieve a stronger position in the Far East, the Middle East, and Europe particularly in the USA. In the coming period, we aim to elevate Talya to the ranks of the world’s leading brands."
Stating that Talya is continuing its efforts to meet international standards, Ertaş noted that the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is scheduled to conduct an inspection of the company's facilities in November.
