Already notable for its various subbrands catering to the needs of cats and dogs, PERITAS launched VELORA formulated by veterinarians and developed under the motto "Proper Nutrition in Expert Hands" consistent with the company's other products.
PERITAS is already known in the dry cat and dog food market through channels such as pet shops and e-commerce with brands like PERITAS Signature, PERITAS Midos, and PERITAS Rico; it is now expanding its product portfolio in the cat and dog food category with PERITAS VELORA, a new brand developed specifically for the retail market channel.
PERITAS’s new products hit the shelves
PERITAS VELORA has launched its new product line, developed based on market research.
All PERITAS VELORA products feature a "low-grain" formula; the portfolio includes chicken-based options for cats and lamb-based options for dogs. Additionally, the VELORA range addresses a market gap by offering a salmon-based formula for sterilized cats that helps prevent hairball formation. VELORA products were offered to consumers in retail chain stores in various packaging sizes.
PERITAS operates in the pet shop channel with its Peritas Signature, Peritas Midos, and Peritas Rico brands. The newly launched PERITAS VELORA brand is now available to cat and dog owners, offering varieties suitable for kittens, adult cats, sterilized cats, and adult dogs.
New products entering the pet food market
The company plans to expand its product portfolio with dry cat and dog food under the PERITAS JUNO brand and cat litter under the PERITAS Fresh Paty brand. PERITAS aims to launch these new products in response to consumer needs and market expectations within the retail sector.

State of the art production technology
PERITAS cat and dog foods are manufactured using advanced production technologies at the Manyas Pet Food Production Facility. Managed by an Integrated Control System, the facility utilizes full automation, and products undergo checks at 57 distinct quality control points.
At the Manyas Pet Food Production Facility which spans a 40,000 square meter area and boasts an hourly production capacity of 10 tons 22 different analyses, covering microbiology, toxicology, nutrition, and sensory evaluation, are performed during every production process. The facility operates with seven quality certifications, including the FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System and GMP quality certifications.
