OYAK Chairman of the Board of Directors Zekai Aksakallı Visited Erdemir

OYAK Chairman of the Board of Directors Zekai Aksakallı met with the members of the Board of Directors, senior management and directors of Erdemir, and later conducted an on-site inspection of the Erdemir facilities, visiting the Erdemir Port, coke plants, Blast Furnace No. 2, and Hot Strip Mill No. 2.
Receiving a detailed briefing on the steel production process, the OYAK Chairman emphasized the importance of further advancing Erdemir’s operations for both Türkiye and the OYAK Group. He noted that Erdemir stands as both the flagship and a strategic investment for OYAK. Aksakallı underlined that Erdemir’s activities hold critical significance not only for OYAK but also for the entire Turkish economy, stating that the company’s employees contribute to a production of strategic value for the nation.
Expressing that they act with great diligence in ensuring the effective management of Erdemir, Aksakallı remarked that swift and sound decision-making, along with anticipating the future and preparing accordingly, are the key factors driving companies toward success.
