21 Ocak 2026

OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş participated in the World Economic Forum (WEF) meetings held in Davos, Switzerland, with the participation of global leaders, international investors, and senior representatives of the business world. In addition to holding numerous high-level meetings during the summit, Yalçıntaş closely followed global economic developments and shared his assessments regarding OYAK's investment strategies.
Noting that Davos is an important platform where global decision-makers meet and lay the foundations for long-term partnerships, Yalçıntaş stated that OYAK aims to develop lasting partnerships in this environment and prepare the ground for sustainable and efficient investments. Yalçıntaş noted that the direction of the world and fundamental economic and strategic trends were also closely monitored through panels and sessions.
Murat Yalçıntaş stated that OYAK aims to continue its long-term and sustainable investments in the coming years, primarily in the energy, infrastructure, and high-tech sectors, adding that the discussions held in Davos regarding these sectors were extremely productive. Pointing out that financial sustainability is possible not only with strong balance sheets but also through international cooperation, OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş said that the partnerships recently established with Somalia and Oman are concrete examples of this approach.
While making comments about the Turkish economy, Murat Yalçıntaş stated that 2025 stands out as a year in which fiscal discipline is at the forefront, noting that interest rates began to decline towards the end of the year, and said, “I see that the Turkish economy is now on a more predictable footing.”
Yalçıntaş noted that this outlook enables companies to make healthier medium-term investment decisions. He added that while cost, financing, and liquidity balances will be important in 2026, investments that increase efficiency and competitiveness will also be on the agenda. Expressing his belief that the Turkish economy will reach a stronger position in the coming period, Yalçıntaş said this would be possible through joint effort and cooperation.
