On 21 September 2025, within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2025 held 17‑21 September at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, OYAK Chairman of the Board of Directors Zekai Aksakallı visited the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır. Aksakallı provided Minister Kacır with detailed information about OYAK’s technology, innovation, and sustainability‑oriented efforts.
OYAK Chairman of the Board of Directors Zekai Aksakallı emphasized that this year OYAK and its associated companies are participating in TEKNOFEST for the first time and shared work in areas including motor technologies, green transformation in the iron‑steel sector, soilless and smart farming practices, armor steel and technology ventures.
Detailed information was presented to Minister Kacır regarding Erdemir’s sustainable production solutions aligned with the Net Zero Roadmap, Hektaş’s soilless and smart farming technologies, Miilux OY’s armor and submarine steel solutions, and OYAK HORSE’s HR18 engine developed for hybrid vehicles. The Minister expressed his satisfaction with OYAK’s commitment to technology and innovation, emphasizing that R&D work plays a decisive role in Türkiye'’s sustainable development. He added that they closely monitor OYAK’s initiatives in strategic areas.
