OMSAN strengthens its food logistics network in Europe

OMSAN Logistics continues to expand in Europe through new partnerships. Under a new collaboration with Gold Harvest & Sagra -major Turkish producers of nuts and food products- the company will manage warehousing and distribution operations across Europe.
OMSAN Logistics will oversee the warehousing and logistics operations in Europe for products manufactured at Sagra’s facility in Ordu and Gold Harvest’s facility in Eskişehir. State of the art refrigerated vehicles will be used to transport the Sagra products from Ordu.
As part of the operation, products -specifically those produced under Gold Harvest’s ‘Master’ brand, as well as items from OYAK brands Tamek and Sagra- will be transported to a central warehouse in Cologne, Germany. From there, OMSAN will handle domestic distribution within Germany as well as shipments to Belgium and France. The operation involves the transport of an average of 500 pallets of products per month, comprising approximately 200 shipments.
Integrated logistics solutions in Europe
The project encompasses not only international transport but also warehousing, inventory management, and distribution processes within Europe. In doing so, OMSAN Logistics is steadily increasing its presence in Europe by providing end to end logistics services to its customers.
Diğdem Liga, Group Director of Automotive and International Offices at OMSAN Logistics, made the following remarks regarding their expanding operational network in Europe:
