Despite intense competition in the global steel sector and challenging market conditions, Erdemir posted a net profit of $201 million in the first half of 2026. Achieving a 95% capacity utilization rate, the company continues to strengthen the industry through steel solutions for projects such as AI investments, "Digital Twin" technology, and the National Aircraft Carrier.
Türkiye's leading steel producer, Erdemir, announced its financial results for the first six months of 2026.

Focusing on high production discipline and efficiency, the company recorded growth across all key indicators in the first half of the year, increasing its sales revenue by 10.4% compared to the same period in 2025 to reach $2.80 billion.
Increasing its net profit from $46 million in the same period of the previous year to $201 million in the first half of 2026, the company reached a crude steel capacity utilization rate of 95%.

“We have entered the 'Digital Twin' era in iron production”
Erdemir Chairman of the Board Murat Yalçıntaş attributed this strong performance not only to capacity but also to the company's "smart production" vision. Yalçıntaş summarized the process as follows:
"We are producing not just in high volume, but smartly and efficiently. This is the stage reached by our artificial intelligence and advanced data analysis processes through the 'Transformation at Work' program we launched. We are creating a model operation cited as a global example where temperatures are lowered, particularly through the 'Digital Twin' applications used in iron distribution. At the same time, we are equipping our operations with accelerated capabilities."
