The collaboration between OMSAN Logistics, a subsidiary of OYAK, and Doğuş Automotive, one of the strongest players in the Turkish automotive market, continues to develop with this new operational model.

In this context, the aim is to evolve the "finished vehicle logistics" (FVL, the safe, damage free, and planned transportation process of completed vehicles from factories or ports to dealerships and final delivery points) services offered to Doğuş Automotive at Port Yarımca, whose quality has been certified by the Japanese NYK with the "occupational safety and damage free" award, into an integrated model.

OMSAN has solidified its strong position in the sector by offering an end to end solution encompassing port operations, inventory management, and value added services in the new era with the integrated model it provides.

New operational model based at Port Yarımca

Under the new model, OMSAN will provide the following services for Doğuş Otomotiv at Port Yarımca, the largest covered automobile storage area among Turkish ports:

• Providing services in a 40,000 square meter covered parking area.

• Conducting ship unloading operations.

• Organizing vehicle shipment preparations within the scope of terminal operations.

• Providing additional storage capacity in bonded warehouses connected to the same customs office, in addition to the port area.

• Carrying out transportation between the port and OMSAN bonded warehouse areas and performing vehicle handling operations in the areas.
