2000

  • The number of permanent members including the members in the Pension System reached 179 thousand while the number of members in the Housing Savings Fund reached 38 thousand and the number of participants in the Donation-Based Retirement Income System reached 8 thousand.
  • Within the framework of the member-oriented service concept, the organization was restructured and creating corporate were initiated.
  • Cooperation was launched with VakıfBank so as to make use of external resources in the Lending Service.
  • The 9th Stage of Ankara-Çayyolu Housing Project was completed and delivered to the members.
  • Although there was no legal obligation, Independent External Audit firms were assigned to conduct audits in both OYAK and OYAK Group Companies.
  • OYAK Güvenlik A.Ş. (the current OYAK SGS) was established.
  • Partnership in ENTAŞ was terminated.

1999

  • Contact Point for Members was established so as to have permanent communication with the members.
  • The 8th Stage of Ankara-Çayyolu and the 6th Stage of İstanbul-Ayazağa Housing Projects were completed and delivered to the members. 
  • The 9th and 10th Stages of Ankara-Çayyolu Housing Project were initiated.
  • AXA OYAK Holding A.Ş. was established with the French AXA Group. Insurance firms under the partnership of OYAK and AXA were merged under this Holding.

1998

  • The 5th Stage of İstanbul-Ayazağa Housing Project was completed and delivered to the members.
  • The 8th Stage of Ankara-Çayyolu Housing Project was initiated.
  • Ordu Pazarları excluding the units in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus were separated from OYAK and restructured under the name “OYAK Büyük Mağazacılık Tic. A.Ş. (OYAK Pazarlama-OYPA). 
  • OYAK Renault launched the production of Megane Wagon, that would be produced for the first time in the world and only in Turkey.
  • Some shares of OYAK İnşaat were sold to the Social Insurance Institution (the current Social Security Institution (SGK)). 

1997

  • OYAK Web Site was launched and e-mail addresses were defined for the complaints, opinions and recommendations of members.
  • The 4th Stage of İstanbul-Ayazağa and the 7th Stage of Ankara-Çayyolu and the 1st Stage of İzmir-Körfezköy housing projects were completed and delivered to the members.  
  • The 6th Stage of İstanbul-Ayazağa housing project was initiated.
  • Zirvekent Housing Project which was constructed in stages in Ankara-Çankaya was initiated.
  • Through the bilateral share transfers performed in MAİS and OYAK Renault, OYAK owned 51% and the French partner Renault Group 49% of MAİS while OYAK owned 49% and the French partner Renault Group 51% of OYAK Renault.

1996

  • Through the amendment made in the OYAK Law No. 205, the Pension System was established so as to enable those who left OYAK by receiving the pension benefit to continue their membership on voluntary basis; the Housing Savings Fund was created so as to enable members to purchase houses and the facility of “Reserve Officer Borrowing” was provided.   
  • The 6th Stage of Ankara-Çayyolu and the 3rd Stage of İstanbul-Ayazağa Housing Projects were completed and delivered to the members. 
  • The 5th Stage of İstanbul-Ayazağa housing project was initiated.
  • OYAK became a partner in Elazığ Çimento with GAMA Group within the framework of the privatization.
  • Türk Boston Bank purchased Anker Bank GmbH (the current OYAK Anker Bank) which engaged in activities in Germany.
  • The name of Türk Boston Bank was changed as OYAK Bank while the name of Anker Bank was changed as OYAK Anker Bank.

1995

  • The number of permanent members exceeded 134 thousand.
  • The 5th Stage of Ankara-Çayyolu and the 1st and 2nd Stages of İstanbul-Ayazağa Housing Projects were completed and delivered to the members. 
  • The 7th Stage of Ankara-Çayyolu, the 4th Stage of İstanbul-Ayazağa and İzmir-Körfezköy housing projects were initiated. 
  • AXA OYAK Hayat Sigorta A.Ş. was established with the French AXA Group.
  • Partnership in Aselsan was terminated. 
  • Some of the Group B shares owned in Adana Çimento were offered to public and the Group B shares started to be traded in İstanbul Stock Exchange.

1994

  • The 4th Stage of Ankara-Çayyolu Housing Project was completed and delivered to the members.
  • The 6th Stage of Ankara-Çayyolu and the 3rd Stage of İstanbul-Ayazağa housing projects were initiated.   
  • Some shares of TUKAŞ were offered to public.
  • All shares of Türk Boston Bank that belonged to other partners were taken over.
  • Some shares of OYAK Sigorta were sold to the French AXA Group.
  • Partnership in Petkim was terminated.
  • In parallel with the developments in the finance sector, the Type A Investment Fund “OYAKFON-1” was established and participation certificates were offered to public in early 1995. 

1993

  • The interactive voice response system “ALO OYAK”, member information service was activated.
  • The 2nd Stage of İstanbul-Ayazağa and the 5th Stage of Ankara-Çayyolu housing projects were initiated. 
  • The 2nd and 3rd Stages of Ankara-Çayyolu Housing Project were completed and delivered to the members.
  • Some of OYAK shares in MAİS were transferred to the French partner Renault Group in OYAK-Renault.
  • Partnership in Pınar Et was terminated.

1992

  • The 1st Stage of Ankara-Çayyolu Housing Project was completed and delivered to the members.
  • The 3rd and 4th Stages of Ankara-Çayyolu and the 1st Stage of İstanbul-Ayazağa housing projects were initiated. 
  • OYAK became a partner with Sabancı Group in Niğde Çimento and İskenderun Çimento companies which were sold by way of a privatization tender.  

1991

  • The housing project in Antalya was completed and delivered to the members.
  • The 2nd Stage of Ankara-Çayyolu Housing Project was initiated.
  • OYAK became a partner in Halk Finansal Kiralama A.Ş.
  • Partnership in YASAŞ was terminated.
  • Group A and C shares in Adana Çimento started to be traded in İstanbul Stock Exchange.
  • Name of the First National Bank of Boston was changed as Türk Boston Bank A.Ş.
